Dr. Mina Abdolahi grew up in Sterling, Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia where she obtained a Bachelors in Biology. She then completed her dental education at the Medical College of Virginia in 2011. She specialized and earned her Master’s degree in Orthodontics from the University of Iowa in 2013. She practiced orthodontics for a year in Hampton Roads before returning home to northern Virginia. She is trained in the latest orthodontic techniques and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Virginia Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Mina enjoys spending time with her husband, Ali, and their daughter, Ana. In her free time, she practices and teaches taekwondo. She speaks English, Farsi and conversational Korean.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Charissa Chin was admitted to the premier Advance Education in General Dentistry program at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, in New York City. She then followed that up with a General Practice Residency at Berkshire Medical Center, in Massachusetts. Upon successful completion of both advanced training programs, she was recruited and appointed to the Assistant Professor position at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She served as a full time faculty member at VCU for four years before entering full time private practice. Dr. Chin is passionate about helping you achieve your optimum level of oral health. She is committed to continuing education and keeping abreast with the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Chin is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires 500 hours of continuing education as well as passing the fellowship exam. She has taken multiple courses at the Dawson Academy, and loves to provide complete care dentistry.

Carli grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, where she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Dental Hygiene in June of 2016. She feels it is very rewarding helping others maintain good oral hygiene and educating patients on their oral health. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know each one of her patients.
Outside of work Carli enjoys spending time with her husband and puppies. She also enjoys going to the gym, running, hunting, outdoor activities and visiting her family back in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Timothy Yang is a warm and caring dentist who believes that dental care should be provided in a personalized, gentle, and compassionate manner. Dr. Yang received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from VCU Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Virginia Dental Association. He is passionate about serving the community and has participated in several outreach programs such as Mission of Mercy Projects and Give Kids A Smile. He believes that every person deserves a healthy smile, and providing quality dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere are the priorities. Dr. Yang is bilingual, communicating fluently with his patients in both English and Mandarin Chinese. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, piano, and spending time with family.

Dr. Aileen Chyn Kim is a caring, talented and compassionate professional, who strives for perfection in precise and gentle dentistry. Dr. Chyn Kim graduated from Virginia Tech and then attended VCU Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. She completed an extensive two year General Practice Residency with a special emphasis on implant, cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry. Dr Chyn Kim grew up in Alexandria, VA and her parents reside in Kingstowne. She enjoys playing badminton and spending time with her family.

She keeps up to date on the newest techniques and the latest research so that she can offer her patients the best and most conservative treatment options.
